Jim Yaegle is the vocalist and bassist. Jim started out as a drummer, turned to lead guitar and then took bass lessons from legendary bassist Paul Jackson of Herbie Hancock's The Headhunters. Jim was in various San Francisco punk bands, including The Wolverines, Yikes!, and GarageTech. He spent the last decade in his own subterranean studio as a one-man band and now is delighted to have found his PsychoKnife band mates that compliment his vision of combining elements of Surf, Punk, Cowboy, and Gothic into one irresistible wiggle-worm of a groove. |

Rich Harrison PsychoKnife is fortunate to have found our buddy Rich. We needed a drummer. We put ads in the papers and the internet, flyers in the music stores and tried to steal drummers from other bands. Gene was on a job and saw this guy that looked like a drummer and asked him if he was. Rich hesitated and said "yeah". Rich has played drums off and on since he was a wee tadpole but had never been a drummer in a tremendous professional band like PsychoKnife. He was, however, a lead singer in a well known LA glam band, "Rosie Black". Rich can sing like a mofo but has always wanted to be drummer -- in a tremendous professional band like PsychoKnife. Lucky us. Our buddy Rich rocks. Rich also has his own business. Rich is an artist with rock and stone, fire and water. Check out Rich's website, rockandstone.com. |
